Hotel Hofmark in Bad Birnbach

Absolute recommendation. We were definitely not there for the last time.

The tunnel walk to the thermal baths is ideal, the hotel deserves four stars and the food three!

The hotel is wonderfully located directly on the bathroom with a bathrobe walkway. The spa park is next door. The food tastes good. There are old and renovated rooms. Most of the employees are very friendly, the manager only has to work on the complaint handling. We had a burst pipe near our room and couldn't use the room during the day because of noise. When we complained about this on departure and asked for a discount, the lady at the reception was offended, she couldn't help it. Can I help it? We were just the ones who suffered. But we're going there again. Because overall everything was fine.

Pure relaxation from the first minute. Friendly welcome with all the information! Yesterday Bavarian 4-course menu at its finest! Excellent cuisine! Rooms to feel good! Bathrobe in the beautiful thermal baths ... nothing to be desired ... highly recommended!

Hotel can be recommended all round for people 60+. Very pleasant atmosphere, very friendly welcome and service, excellent food.

The unrestricted use of the thermal bath plus sauna area is really great if you book a flat rate. Connected by a bathrobe corridor (but it is quite long and not suitable for the disabled!). The food is fantastic. Staff super friendly! Spacious room with kettle and minibar.

Great as always

We have been to the Hotel Hofmark many times. Great is the quiet location, the bathrobe, the offer of the get-to-know days and the spaciousness of the house. The breakfast and dinner were very tasty and well decorated. The wait staff and the service staff for the rooms are brisk and friendly. We found it a shame during our recent stay that the harsh rustic reception and the draining of the information (food from xx-yx), like in a youth hostel. The receptionist never smiled or said a friendly word throughout the procedure. The transfer from a gallery room to a double room comfort was immediately refused - without looking at the availabilities. Gallery room should be avoided due to narrow stairs with problems with the bladder and eyes. It also pulls out of the small window that is attached in the gallery area and it can happen that the sleeper wakes up with a stiff neck. Even though we were there several times, there was no reception sparkling wine in the room. The free slippers and the practical bathing bag were also abolished. In a 4-star wellness hotel, this is actually common practice. We also find it a shame that only the pictures of the former cozy dining room are left. Now it's a room, like in any middle class hotel - furniture from the hotel furniture catalog and everything open - without niches, without privacy, without individual charm.

We'll be going there for the second time soon. Top rooms, delicious food and most importantly, the Rottal Therme. Unfortunately, the service of the waiters has declined quite a bit. Without a tip you will be overlooked, the coffee pot is only half full or part of the food is missing. I already paid for the service with the booking. And tips are given at the end, if at all. (Nothing this time.)

We had a very nice stay with dog. The bathrobe aisle was great, the staff great, the maids were very nice, took into consideration our dog. The food was delicious and very lovingly prepared, the breakfast left nothing to be desired. Price performance fits. The hotel is located directly on the park and offers great opportunities to go for a walk.

Very friendly and helpful staff, especially in the restaurant excellent fast and attentive service, breakfast buffet and dinner leave nothing to be desired, comfortable spacious rooms and the "bathrobe corridor" complete a perfect atmosphere. The holiday is assured ..... And I also got a "liquid" birthday cake ;-)

Hotel in itself, just a star deduction for the miserable wifi connection

Chose hotel because of the direct access to the thermal baths. Entry to the thermal baths was also included! The quality of the restaurant in the hotel was very good, the service staff moody and sometimes almost unprofessional. The reception, however, always tried hard to please the guest. The rooms were very clean, the housekeeping sometimes a bit too fast. In conclusion: not cheap but worth the money.

We were for the third time in this hotel. As always very friendly staff, rich breakfast, great evening menu and the rooms well-kept and clean (the mattresses are great) and the bathrobe walk to the spa is a wonderful thing.
